About Owen Essential Care

Quality Care for Reasonable Prices

At Owen Essential Care, we do not file claims with insurance companies. The current healthcare system in the US is expensive, bulky, and time consuming, largely due to complications of the health insurance system. At Owen Essential Care you get quality treatment well below the national average cost because we provide fee for service care with payment at the time of service.  You will not be sent any unexpected bills after your visit.

About Us: Adam and Tana Culbertson

We opened our door in Owenton, KY in 2022 and have been pleased to have grown our practice to offer increased services to serve our community. 

Adam, our provider, is an Independent Family Nurse Practitioner. He has been practicing since 2008. Adam has extensive experience working in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Addiction Medicine, corrections, and retired from military service.

Tana, Registered Nurse,  has experience in labor and delivery, School Nurse, surgery, and Public Health.

If you see a cardiologist you may need to bring a clearance letter. If you have sleep apnea and use a CPAP or BiPAP you must bring a compliance print out. A patient on insulin must bring a MCSA-5875 form filled out by prescribing provider.

Cognitive Behavioral Coaching

Our Services

Sessions will utilize the Cognitive Behavioral Theory which correlates thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to meet personal goals. Examples of goals may be related to health, relationships, wellness, career or education. We offer a FREE scheduled 15 minute appointment to discuss CBC and identification of  your specific goal. If you choose to schedule CBC appointments the cost is $45 for 30 minutes, offered weekly for as long as needed to achieve your personal goal.
